For an eye emergency during office hours, text or call Fairview Eyecare at (214) 383-5400 and ask for a same-day medical visit. After hours, call (972) 922-7537. Go to an emergency room instead for chemical burns, penetrating injuries, or eye problems alongside a head injury.
Eye problems do not keep office hours. We hold same-day slots for urgent medical visits, and there is an after-hours line when we are closed.
Go straight to an emergency room for a chemical splash, something that has penetrated the eye, or an eye injury that came with a blow to the head.
