Bring these
- Whether this is a routine check or something is bothering you — it determines which insurance we bill
- Your vision insurance card and your medical insurance card
- Your current glasses and contact lens boxes
- Any medications you take
First visits usually run about 45 minutes. For a chemical splash, something that has penetrated the eye, or an eye injury that came with a blow to the head, go to an emergency room instead of waiting for an appointment.
