A contact lens fitting measures the shape of the eye and tests lens performance on the eye — it is a separate service from a glasses exam, which is why it carries a separate fee. Fairview Eyecare fits daily disposables, monthly lenses, astigmatism and multifocal lenses, and specialty lenses for keratoconus and irregular corneas.
A contact lens sits on living tissue, so the fit has to be right — not just the power. We measure, we trial, and we bring you back to check how the eye actually responded.
If you have been told you cannot wear contacts, it is worth a second opinion. Specialty lenses have moved a long way.
